If you forgot to turn in a book last year, drop it off to the media center the week of Tuesday September 6th - Friday September 9th.
Any books turned in on those days will not be charged any overdue fines. So check your home and cars for any library books you might have hanging around.

Surfing Documentary - August 5th
If you are interested, the Northeast Branch of the Public Library will be showing Will Lucas's documentary film, "Surfing at Summer's End". Mr. Lucas has made three previous documentaries and describes this movie as part music video and part documentary. The film includes interviews from surfing legends and film footage from the 60's and 70's.
The film will show at 7:00 pm and last about 75 minutes. The doors will open at 6:30 pm. for seating. The showing is free. Mr. Lucas will also be there to answer questions and copies of his video will be on sale for $29.95.
The Northeast Branch is located at 1241 Military Cutoff Road just past the intersection of Eastwood Rd. heading towards Mayfaire.
